In her four seasons with the women's soccer team, Elder was the most prolific scorer in the history of the program as she scored 75 goals and added 30 assists to finish with a total of 180 points, which ranked among the top marks in NCAA history. During her career, Elder had at three seasons in which she scored at least 20 goals, including a record 25-goal campaign in 1994 and recorded at least 49 points in three of her four seasons of play. She was a part of the 1994 team that scored a school record 66 goals and the 1997 Lady Miner squad that posted a record of 15-3-1 and was ranked No. 25 in the final NSCAA Division II national rankings. Between the 1994-97 seasons in which she played, the Lady Miners had a record of 42-28-6.
