Hall of Fame
The Miner golf team won the first conference title in school history during the 1938 season, capturing the first of its back-to-back MIAA titles. The Miners were undefeated during the season and had strong showings from its top four players. Floyd Watts served as the team's No. 1 player during the season, while Omar Walley, Buddy Clayton and Joe Carroll filled the other three spots on this championship squad.
