Henry earned numerous accolades throughout his career in the men’s track & field program, topped by being named as the winner of the 2009 Paragon Award by the Great Lakes Valley Conference and the Gale Bullman Award as S&T's top senior student-athlete following the 2008-09 academic year. He was part of the field at the NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships on six occasions, which included a second place finish in the pole vault at the indoor championship meets in 2008 and 2009 among his five career All-America performances. Henry won five GLVC championships during his career, one in the indoor heptathlon and four in the pole vault, where he was the first vaulter in conference history to clear 17 feet at the conference meet. He was also an outstanding student that was named to two Academic All-America team and twice as the GLVC’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
