Missouri S&T Athletics

A four-year letterman on the Miner golf team, Roney won honorable mention All-America honors in 1977 and 1978.  He was also a two-time medalist at the MIAA Championships (1975 and 1978) and earned all-league honors in all four years he competed at UMR.  He was a three-time national qualifier in his sport and won the team’s most valuable player award twice.  Roney earned medalist honors at five tournaments during his career.
