The first 1,000-point scorer in the history of women’s basketball at the university, Bishop was one of the top players in the early years of the Lady Miner program.  She set the school record for points in a game with 44 and was among the team’s top scorers throughout her career, averaging in double figures in all four seasons to finish with 1,042 points.
