Hall of Fame
The Jackling Jocks, a group of former student-athletes at the university, have continued their association with the university as strong supporters of the Miner program. The core group – who gained the name as many of them lived in Jackling Gym while attending the institution and competing in athletics – began in the 1950s and stayed together through reunions that began in the late 1990s. The individuals who make up that group have continued a close association with the program, with many of them becoming members of the Academy of Miner Athletics and those who have created scholarship funds to help the program continue growing for the future.
