Borgmeyer finished an outstanding career in the Lady Miner softball program as the school's all-time leader in hits with 225 while posting a four-year batting average of .343.  She also set the Lady Miners' school record for runs scored in a season with 50 in the 2004 campaign, when she led a team that finished 41-14 with a .383 batting mark and 26 of her 69 career stolen bases from the leadoff spot in the lineup.   Earning All-MIAA honors in her final three years as a player and NFCA all-region honors in 2003, Borgmeyer posted an average of better than .300 in each of her four seasons in a Lady Miner uniform and had a school-record 18-game hitting streak during the 2004 season.  She also earned All-America Scholar-Athlete honors from the NFCA in 2004.
