The Miners had second place showings from Danny Murphy (Houston, Texas/Cypress Creek) in the 1,000-freestyle in 9:53.50 and the 500-free in 4:46.73, Arve in the 200-freestyle in 1:46.46, Sean Deegan (Kansas City, Mo./Park Hill) in the 50-yard freestyle in 21.80 seconds, Enge in the 200-backstroke in 1:54.04 and Zach Lemons (Flagstaff, Ariz./Flagstaff) in the 200-breaststroke in 2:09.51.

S&T also had a tie for second between Schranck and Agi VanWetering (Omaha, Neb./Millard West) in the 100-yard freestyle as both posted times of 47.93 seconds.

The Miners' 400-yard freestyle relay team of Deegan, Arve, Sanchez-Turner and Hamilton Vernon (Omaha, Neb./Burke) took second as well Saturday with a time of 3:12.12.

Vernon placed third in the 200-freestyle in 1:46.92, as did VanWetering in the 50-freestyle in 22.06 seconds, Enge in the 200-IM in 1:58.37, Lemons in the 200-butterfly in 1:58.01, Sanchez-Turner in the 500-freestyle in 5:01.64 and Matt Welsh (Wildwood, Mo./Lafayette) in the 200-yard backstroke with a mark of 1:58.18.
