Biography
2008-09: Was one of the members of the Miners’ championship team in the NSISC meet in the 400- and 800-yard freestyle relays…also had a third place finish in the 100-freestyle with a seasonal-best mark of 46.37 seconds as well as a fifth in the 200-yard freestyle at the NSISC Championships…recorded top seasonal times of 20.93 seconds in the 50-yard freestyle and 1:43.07 in the 200-free during that meet that met the NCAA Division II provisional qualifying marks, as did the time in the 100-free…was part of S&T’s 200-medley relay team that finished second at the NSISC meet…swam as the Miners’ leadoff swimmer in that race.
PERSONAL: Son of Carmen Sirizzotti…competed in the sprint freestyle events and anchored a fifth place team in the 200-yard medley relay…placed sixth at the Nebraska State Championships in the 50- and 100-yard freestyle, posting times of 21.67 in the 50 and 48.11 in the 100 for a team that finished seventh in the state meet…majoring in architectural engineering.
