GREENWOOD, Ind. -- College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced its 2025-26 Women's Track & Field Academic All-America Team, with Missouri S&T's
Sydney Morris (Jefferson City, MO/Calvary Lutheran) claiming a spot on the Second Team.
Morris earns her first career CSC Academic All-America honor following a standout 2025-26 season in which she set multiple school records and claimed her first career All-America accolade. She opened the year with a strong indoor campaign, establishing program records in both the weight throw and shot put while narrowly missing qualification for the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships by just inches.
Morris followed with an even stronger outdoor season, breaking the school record in the shot put multiple times while also setting the program mark in the hammer throw. She qualified for the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships in the shot put after recording a school-record throw of 14.76 meters, the nation's 15th-best mark during the regular season. She saved her best performance for the national meet, extending her school record to 14.92 meters to finish 10th overall and earn Second Team All-America honors.
Academically, Morris holds a perfect 4.0 grade point average as an architectural engineering major. She has been named to the Great Lakes Valley Conference's All-Academic team and a recipient of the Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar Award the past two seasons.
