Misukonis Wins GLVC Pole Vault Title, Miners Earn Multiple All-Conference Honors on Day Two of GLVC Outdoor Championships

BOLIVAR, Mo. -- Missouri S&T track and field turned in a strong showing through the first two days of the GLVC Outdoor Championships, earning multiple All-Conference honors and positioning both teams near the top of the standings heading into the final day at Plaster Stadium. 
 
Through two days of competition, the Miners sit in contention on both sides, with the women in third place with 28.50 points and the men in fourth with 31.33 points. 
 
Missouri S&T saw standout performances in the heptathlon, led by Maddie Falls, who earned All-Conference honors with a second-place finish, totaling 4,519 points. Fall turned in a strong all-around performance, highlighted by a first-place finish in the shot put (12.23m) and runner-up finishes in the high jump (1.54m) and long jump (5.39m), while also placing third in the 200-meter dash (26.22). 
 
Lauryn Fenoglio (Granite City, IL/Granite City) added a fifth-place finish with 4,362 points, highlighted by a third-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles (15.13) and consistent performances across all seven events. 
 
On the men's side, Kael Knittel (Spring Hill, KS/Spring Hill) placed fifth in the decathlon with 5,423 points, recording top-three finishes in the discus (35.57m), pole vault (3.48m), and 1500 meters (4:59.17) to lead the Miners in the multi-events. 
 
Sydney Morris (Jefferson City, MO/Calvary Lutheran) continued her strong season in the throws, earning All-Conference honors with a second-place finish in the shot put (14.38m). 
 
The Miners also dominated the men's pole vault, with Noah Misukonis (Bloomington, IL/Bloomington) capturing the GLVC title with a clearance of 4.77 meters, while Wilson Klein (Houston, TX/Lutheran South Academy) placed third at 4.62 meters. Both earned All-Conference honors in the event. 
 
Elsewhere in the field, Tyler Marchert (Frankfort, IL/Lincoln-Way East) added a fifth-place finish in the men's shot put (15.57m), while Madelaine Fischer (Anamosa, IA/Anamosa) placed seventh in the women's hammer throw (47.24m) and Wyatt Caldwell (Troy, MO/Troy Buchanan) finished seventh in the men's hammer (51.96m). 
 
On the track, Jack Janovick (Spring Hill, KS/Spring Hill) placed seventh in the 1500 meters (3:59.00), while Shaun Wolfe (Fulton, MO/Fulton) added a ninth-place finish in the 10,000 meters (31:10.40). 
 
In the jumps, Ayden Jones (Liberty, MO/Liberty North) placed ninth in the long jump (6.99m), while Mary Kimmerle (Lathrop, MO/Liberty North) finished seventh in the women's long jump (5.63m). Jenna Mueller (St. Louis, MO/Oakville) added a seventh-place finish in the women's pole vault (3.52m) to round out the Miners' efforts.

Missouri S&T returns to Plaster Stadium tomorrow for the final day of the GLVC Outdoor Championships in Bolivar, Missouri.
