FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. -- Missouri S&T sent six athletes to Arkansas Twilight on Friday, getting a personal best from
Sydney Morris (Jefferson City, MO/Calvary Lutheran) in the discus.
Mary Kimmerle (Lathrop, MO/Liberty North) recorded a 14.47 in the 100m hurdles, finishing ninth overall.
Sydney Morris (Jefferson City, MO/Calvary Lutheran) was runner up and recorded another provisional mark in the shot put, tossing 14.55m. She later set a personal best in the discus, throwing 43.00m to take 5th place.
Madelaine Fischer (Anamosa, IA/Anamosa) finished third in the discus with a 44.68m mark and placed ninth in the shot with a mark of 10.83m.
Justin Chadwell (Norwood, MO/Norwood) claimed third place in the triple jump, recording a 14.47m mark.
Jake Salazar-Blair (Phoenix, AZ/Desert Vista) also finished third, doing so in the javelin with a 55.87m throw. Eli Graham rounded out the S&T contenders, taking fourth in the discus with a 47.88m throw.
What's Next
S&T is sending the same six athletes to Harding Mother's Day Last Chance Meet next, with competition taking place on Sunday.
