4/16/2026 10:09:00 AM

ROLLA, Mo. -- Missouri S&T track and field returns home this weekend to host the Dewey Allgood Invitational at Allgood-Bailey Stadium. The one-day meet is set for Saturday, April 18, as the Miners welcome teams from across the region for a full day of competition.

The meet will feature a full slate of running and field events, giving Missouri S&T the opportunity to compete on its home track as the outdoor season continues. The Miners look to build on recent performances and continue improving marks and times as they move closer to the GLVC Championships.

Field events will begin at 9:30 a.m. with the women's hammer throw, followed by a rolling schedule that includes discus, shot put, high jump, javelin, long jump, triple jump, and pole vault. Track events are set to begin at 12 p.m. with the women's 3000-meter steeplechase and will continue through a full schedule of sprints, hurdles, relays, and distance races, concluding with the 10,000-meter runs.

Fans can expect a competitive atmosphere throughout the day, as the Miners take on a variety of regional programs in one of their key home meets of the outdoor season.

Admission for the Dewey Allgood Invitational is $5 for adults, $3 for students, veterans, and youth ages 18 and under, while children ages 5 and under are admitted free. Live statistics will be available during the meet.
