Three Miners Make NCAA Division II Swimming Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, IN  --  Three Missouri S&T swimmers have been selected to compete in seven events at this year's NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships in Evansville.

Senior Connor Bichsel (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit West) received the most entries of any Miner, being selected for the 200 breast, the 200 fly, the 200 individual medley, and the 400 individual medley. Fellow senior Jordan Christensen (Coralville, IA/Iowa West) also earned a spot at Nationals, qualifying in both the 100 and 200 breast. Adam Wiedemeier (West Monroe, LA/West Monroe) rounds out S&T's qualifiers, with the junior set to compete in the 200 free.

All three Miners are returners from from last year's Nationals squad, with Bichsel now qualifying four years in a row.

What's Next
Bichsel, Christensen, and Wiedemeier will travel to Evansville, Indiana to compete in Nationals from March 10th-14th.
