EVANSVILLE, IN  --  Missouri S&T Swimming ended their season strong on Friday and Saturday, earning five more All-America honors to bring their meet total to eight.
 
Jordan Christensen (Coralville, IA/Iowa West) started the action for the Miners on Friday, taking sixth in the 100 breast prelims with a personal-best time of 52.95 that ties the second-fastest mark in school history. He finished one spot better in the finals, taking 5th. Connor Bichsel (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit West) also swam on Friday, taking 14th in the 200 fly prelims and advancing to the finals where he placed 8th in the consolation final.
 
All three Miners were in the pool on Saturday for the final day of competition, with Adam Wiedmeier starting things off with the 100 free prelims. Wiedemeier placed 16th in the prelims, tying his career-best time of 43.82 and advancing to the consolation finals where he improved two spots on his prelim placement.
 
Bichsel and Christensen both swam the 200 breast to close out the meet for S&T, with Bichsel placing in the A final and Christensen moving on to the B final. Christensen set a new personal best in the finals, touching the wall at 1:57.65 to claim second in the consolation final. Bichsel finished seventh in the A final with a time of 1:57.02.
 
The Miners ended the national meet with 56 points, with Bichsel accounting for 28 of those points, and placing 19th overall for the second consecutive season.
