INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – For the third time in as many weeks, Missouri S&T's Grant Edmonds (Huntington Beach, CA/Edison) has been selected as Setter of the Week by the Great Lakes Valley Conference after the Miners split a pair of contests against nationally-ranked teams over the weekend.

Edmonds compiled 76 assists in the two four-set matches, including 43 in S&T's win Friday at 11^th-ranked McKendree that marked the program's first win in its four seasons of existence over a ranked team.  The Miners hit .300 as a team in Friday's contest, its second-best mark of the season, as Edmonds had 43 of the team's 47 assists in the match.

On Saturday, Edmonds recorded 33 more assists in the match against 18^th-ranked Lindenwood that the Lions won in four sets to snap S&T's five-game winning streak.

In addition to the 76 assists over the weekend, Edmonds added 11 digs and two block assists.

Missouri S&T will be back in action Wednesday when it takes on Park in Parkville, Mo.
