INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Missouri S&T's Grant Edmonds (Huntington Beach, CA/Edison) has been named the GLVC Setter of the Week after leading the Miners to a pair of three-set victories with an outstanding performance offensively.
Edmonds totaled 70 assists across two matches, averaging 11.66 assists per set, while directing an efficient offense that posted a .432 hitting percentage on the weekend.
In addition to his work as a setter, Edmonds contributed across the stat sheet with one kill, one solo block, one block assist, and four digs.
Nationally, Edmonds continues to rank among the top setters in the country, sitting third in assists per set (10.51) while leading the GLVC in the category. As a team, Missouri S&T ranks No. 7 nationally in hitting percentage (.347) and leads the conference, while also ranking 10th in kills per set (12.50).
Edmonds' performance played a key role in the Miners' offensive success and continued strong showing at both the conference and national level.
