PUEBLO, CO — The 2025 NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships have drawn to a close, with Owen Fraser (Kirksville, MO/Kirksville) competing in the shot put today.
Fraser finished 16th out of 22 competitors in the event, with a best mark of 17.07m that came on his second throw. He did not make the cut for throws 4-6, with his only other countable mark coming on his third throw which went 17.06m.
The 2025 Championships will be one for the history books though, with Fraser being crowned the 2025 National Champion in discus and Otto Knittel (Spring Hill, KS/Spring Hill) setting a school record and earning All-America in the decathlon.
