Men’s Cross Country Set to Compete at NCAA Midwest Regional in Kenosha

KENOSHA, Wis. – Missouri S&T men's cross country continues its postseason this weekend, traveling to Kenosha, Wis., to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships, hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The meet will take place on Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course.

About the Meet
The Midwest Regional will feature top programs from the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC), and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), with the top teams and individuals advancing to the NCAA Division II Championships later this month.

Tickets for the regional meet are available for presale at NCAA.com/Tickets. Presale prices are $12 for adults and $8 for children and seniors, while day-of prices will be $15 for adults and $10 for children and seniors.

About the Miners
Missouri S&T enters the NCAA Midwest Regional following a historic performance at the GLVC Championships, where the Miners placed third overall, matching their best team finish in program history.

Henry Born (Lake Quivira, KS/Shawnee Mission Northwest) led S&T with a fourth-place finish in 23:54.29, matching the best individual result by a Miner in the GLVC era, while Andrew Bacon (Webster Groves, MO/Webster Groves) followed in sixth at 24:20.04. The duo became the first in program history to place inside the top six together.

Maddox Riley (Wentzville, MO/Timberland) earned GLVC Freshman of the Year honors after finishing 18th overall, and Shaun Wolfe (Fulton, MO/Fulton) placed 20th as S&T recorded four All-GLVC honorees for the first time.

Joining them in Kenosha will be Spencer Pye (Merriam, KS/Shawnee Mission North), Tate Uding (Festus, MO/Festus), and Evan Mitchell (Shawnee, KS/Shawnee Mission Northwest), with Jacob Meyers (Lake St. Louis, MO/Homeschooled) serving as the alternate.

Qualifiers from the Midwest Regional will advance to the 2025 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships, set for Saturday, Nov. 22, in Kenosha, Wis.
