RICHMOND, VA -- Missouri S&T's Swim earned a top 25 ranking in the most recent College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) poll, placing 24th after finishing second out of six teams at the Drury Invite.
Connor Bichsel (Lee's Summit, MO/Lee's Summit West) has been the driving force behind the Miners' success recently, nabbing seven golds in his the two meets and earning a pair of Great Lakes Valley Conference Swim & Dive Athlete of the Week honors. S&T has also had success from their medley relay team of
Oskar Fridsell (Solna, Sweden/Solna Gymnasium),
Jordan Christensen (Coralville, IA/Iowa West),
Oscar Iden (Oslo, Norway/Oslo Private Gymnasium), and
Adam Wiedemeier (West Monroe, LA/West Monroe), with the squad earning two golds and a bronze in their last two meets.
What's Next
The team heads to the Mizzou invite on November 20th.
