ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T's swimming team has earned a spot on the College Swimming Coaches Association of America's Scholar All-America list for the 22^nd straight semester, as the Miners landed the award for the 2024 spring term.  In addition, six members of the Miner roster have earned Scholar All-America honors on an individual basis from the organization.

The Miners, led by head coach Danny Murphy, posted a team grade point average of 3.26 during the spring to lead the group of the 47 schools whose men's swimming teams were named to the Scholar All-America squad.  Missouri S&T was one of eight schools from the Great Lakes Valley Conference that were honored as well.

Gannon had the highest grade point average among the NCAA Division II institutions named with a 3.59 grade point average.

Individually, S&T had four first team and two second team selections, which go to those with a 3.5 grade point average or higher.  Competitors at the NCAA Division II Championships are named to the first team, while second team laurels to go individuals that made an NCAA provisional qualifying mark to go along with the academic requirement.

The first team selections were Nate Baxter (St. Charles, IL/St. Charles North), who competed on the 200- and 400-yard medley relay that earned All-America awards; Nate Clancy, who finished fifth in the 100-yard breaststroke at the national meet; Adam Wiedemeier (West Monroe, LA/West Monroe), who competed in the 200-yard freestyle at nationals; and Kevin Williams (Houston, TX/Westside), who was part of the Miners' 800-yard freestyle relay quartet.

Jordan Christensen (Coralville, IA/Iowa West), who made a provisional mark in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley and Oscar Iden (Oslo, Norway/Oslo Private Gymnasium), who made the B-cut in the 100-yard butterfly, were the second team selections.
