Miner swimmers chosen to CSCAA Scholar All-America team

ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T has again garnered an academic award from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America as the Miners were one of 461 schools that received the team Scholar All-America award for the 2020 spring semester.

The team awards are given to squads that post at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average over the course of a semester, but the CSCAA did not publish the team grade point averages due to a number of institutions that switched to pass-fail grading systems as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.  That matter also led to an early end to the NCAA Division II Championships in March, where the Miners were in ninth place in the team standings when the meet came to a halt.

Missouri S&T was among 50 NCAA Division II schools and nine in the Great Lakes Valley Conference to make the men's list.

The Miners have earned the Scholar All-America award in each of the last 13 semesters, including the 2019 fall term.  The CSCAA will announce its individual Scholar All-America selections next week.
