Louisville, Ky. – Missouri S&T's softball team had 11 players named to the 2017 Easton/NFCA NCAA Division II Scholar-Athlete team announced this week by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association. The players achieved a GPA of 3.50 or higher during the 2016-17 academic year.

S&T's Rachel Aiardo (Naperville, Ill./Naperville North), Jacey Allen (Roanoke, Texas/Byron Nelson), Lori Badalamenti (Wentzville, Mo./Timberland), Avery English (Carterville, Ill./Carterville), Kelly Heckemeyer (St. Elizabeth, Mo./St. Elizabeth), Courtney Jackson (Parkville, Mo./Park Hill South), Ashley Rausch (Washington, Iowa/Washington), Hannah Smith (Oconomowoc, Wis./Catholic Memorial), Kati Viets (Sweet Springs, Mo./Sweet Springs), Monica Weiss (St. Louis, Mo./Marquette) and Olivia Young (Milstadt, Ill./Belleville Township) all made the grade.
