S&T kept the lead in the range of 15-20 points for the remainder of the way until a 3-pointer by Shelby Geiman in the closing seconds made it a 14-point final margin.

The Lady Miners took only 17 shots in the second half, making seven of them, but lived at the foul line going 14 for 20. They finished the game shooting 44 percent from the floor and behind the arc while shooting 69 percent at the foul line. Parks and Heil led the way with 12 points apiece while Sample dropped home 11.
