Biography

2011-12: Heil appeared in 26 games with two starts...she averaged 4.1 points and 2.5 rebounds per game...she scored a career-high 16 points against Westminster on Dec. 18...she had a perfect shooting day that afternoon going 5-for-5 from the floor, 2-of-2 from three and 4-for-4 at the foul line...she had three double figure scoring games on the season...she shot 35.4 percent from the floor for the season and was 27 percent from downtown...she matched her career-high of seven rebounds against San Francisco State on November 26 in Phoenix, Ariz.

2010-11: Heil played in 20 games with six starts, including the last five...missed eight games due to an injury...averaged 4.3 points, 2.3 rebounds and over one assist per game...matched her career-highs in field goals made (4) and three-point field goals made (3) in the season opening win over Nebraska-Kearney on November 12...made a career-high six free throws at Maryville on February 10...dished out a career-high five assists twice last season.

2009-10: Heil played in all 28 contests with four starts last season and averaged 16.2 minutes per contest...she averaged 4.5 points and nearly two rebounds per contest...she reached double figures in points three times with a career-high of 13 in a 64-49 win over Westminster on December 12...made a career-high five free throws in that game as well...she pulled down a career-high seven boards in S&T’s  home win over Maryville on Febraury 13...she recorded career-highs in field goals made (4) and three-point field goals made (3)  against Wayne State (11/21) ...matched her career-high in field goals made with four against Southern Indiana on January 7...she dished out 23 assists and had 16 steals on the season.

High School: Heil helped lead Dexter to a 28-2 record and a fourth place finish in Missouri Class 4 last season...averaged 20.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.5 assists and shot over 50 percent from the field last year...was an all-state selection and player of the year in the SEMO Conference for a second straight season ... was an all-state selection in Missouri Class 4 and co-player of the year in the SEMO Conference after averaging 18.5 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game as a junior. Those marks helped lead Dexter to a 22-5 record, its second-highest win total in school history and a district championship. She broke the school’s single-game scoring record by scoring 42 against a state-ranked Portageville team, including six three-point baskets. Heil was named to the Class 4 all-state first team that also included current Lady Miner Courtney Kemp.

Personal: Daughter of Dan and Connie Heil...majoring in biological sciences with an emphasis in pre-physical therapy.
