ROLLA, Mo. — Missouri University of Science and Technology has named
Mark Mullin as acting director of athletics. In this role, Mullin will provide leadership and oversight for Missouri S&T's intercollegiate athletics programs, as well as the university's intramural, club sports, and recreation departments.
Mullin brings a wealth of experience to the department, having previously served as Missouri S&T's director of athletics from 1992 to 2020. During his tenure, the Miners consistently ranked among the top third of the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup standings. Mullin has received numerous accolades for his contributions to athletics, including induction into the Miner Athletic Hall of Fame and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
The university will conduct a national search for a new director of athletics while Mullin provides leadership and continuity for the department during the transition.
