KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) has announced its academic honorees for the 2025-26 season, with Missouri S&T Men's Basketball earning the Team Academic Excellence Award while five individuals were named to the NABC Honors Court.

The NABC Team Academic Excellence Awards recognize programs that completed the 2025-26 academic year with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher. The Miners posted a 3.3 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.

The NABC Honors Court, meanwhile, includes junior, senior, and graduate student men's basketball players who finished the 2025-26 academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher. The Miners had five student-athletes earn the honor, with Alex Bensassi, Andrew Young (Ballwin, MO/Marquette), Blaise Beauchamp (Minnetonka, MN/Hopkins), Jack Zarr (St. Louis, MO/Oakville), and Michael Onunkwor (Jefferson City, MO/Jefferson City) all receiving Honors Court recognition.
