NEW ORLEANS, La.  --  The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2025-26 All-Academic honors, with Missouri S&T earning numerous accolades. Owen Fraser (Kirksville, MO/Kirksville) headlined the honorees after being named the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Men's Indoor Field Scholar Athlete of the Year, while both the men's and women's teams, along with ten individual student-athletes, received All-Academic recognition.

Fraser became the first student-athlete in Missouri S&T history to earn the USTFCCCA NCAA Division II Men's Indoor Field Scholar Athlete of the Year award. He claimed the NCAA Division II indoor national championship in the shot put and earned First Team All-America honors in the weight throw during the indoor season. In the classroom, Fraser maintained a perfect 4.0 grade point average as a senior majoring in mechanical engineering.

Missouri S&T also earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors on both the men's and women's sides. The women's team posted a 3.65 cumulative grade point average, the second-highest among Great Lakes Valley Conference programs. The men's team recorded a 3.62 cumulative GPA, ranking third among all NCAA Division II men's track and field programs.

Ten Missouri S&T student-athletes earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors for the 2025-26 season. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.35 while either ranking among the nation's top 96 in an indoor event or competing in any round of the NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Seven members of the men's team received All-Academic recognition: Andrew Bacon (Webster Groves, MO/Webster Groves), Henry Born (Lake Quivira, KS/Shawnee Mission Northwest), Justin Chadwell (Norwood, MO/Norwood), Owen Fraser (Kirksville, MO/Kirksville), Jack Janovick (Spring Hill, KS/Spring Hill), Otto Knittel (Spring Hill, KS/Spring Hill), and Louis Yohannes (Troy, IL/Triad). On the women's side, Madelaine Fischer (Anamosa, IA/Anamosa), Sydney Morris (Jefferson City, MO/Calvary Lutheran), and Maya Wright (Hillsboro, MO/Hillsboro) also earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.
