BOLIVAR, Mo. -- Missouri S&T track and field wrapped up competition at the GLVC Outdoor Championships with another strong day, earning multiple All-Conference honors and podium finishes at Plaster Stadium.
The Miners were led by standout performances in the throws and javelin, highlighted by a pair of top-three finishes in the men's javelin.
Jack Preckel (Wildwood,MO/Lafayette) placed second with a throw of 58.67 meters, while
Jake Salazar-Blair (Phoenix, AZ/Desert Vista) followed closely in third at 57.32 meters, as both earned All-Conference honors.
In the women's discus, Madelaine Fischer (Anamosa, IA/Anamosa) continued her record-breaking season with a runner-up finish, posting a mark of 46.58 meters, breaking the program record for a third time this season to earn All-Conference recognition.
Sydney Morris (Jefferson City, MO/Calvary Lutheran) added a fifth-place finish in the event with a throw of 41.82 meters, giving the Miners two strong scoring performances in the field.
On the men's side, Eli Graham secured another All-Conference honor with a second-place finish in the discus at 49.34 meters, while Tyler Marchert added points with a fourth-place throw of 45.31 meters.
Justin Chadwell (Norwood, MO/Norwood) contributed a fourth-place finish in the triple jump (14.53m), continuing a consistent weekend for the Miners in the jumps.
On the track, Kaiden Snyder (St. James, MO/St. James) turned in a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.55, while Mary Kimmerle (Lathrop, MO/Liberty North) added a fourth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles to round out the Miners' performances.
Missouri S&T closed the championships with a balanced effort across both track and field events, highlighted by multiple All-Conference performances and key point-scoring finishes.
