ROLLA, Mo. -- Missouri S&T track & field returns to action this week as the Miners travel to Warrensburg, Missouri to compete in the UCM Kip and Kirk Outdoor Mule Relays on Thursday and Friday, April 9-10.
Meet Schedule
Competition begins with running events at 11:30 a.m., starting with the 4x100-meter relays, followed by hurdle and sprint prelims and distance races throughout the afternoon and evening.
Field events begin at 1:00 p.m., including the javelin, hammer throw, pole vault, and long jump.
The evening session will feature distance events, including the 1500m, 5000m, and 10,000m, along with invitational sections of the 800m and steeplechase.
Friday's events begin at 12:00 p.m. with field events including discus, shot put, triple jump, and high jump .
Running finals will begin at 1:30 p.m., featuring finals in the hurdles and sprints, followed by middle-distance events, steeplechase, and relays to close out the meet
About the Miners
Missouri S&T enters the weekend coming off a strong stretch of performances, highlighted by multiple event wins, podium finishes, and school records across recent meets.
Most recently, Madelaine Fischer (Anamosa, IA/Anamosa) broke the school record in the discus, while Sydney Morris (Jefferson City, MO/Calvary Lutheran) has continued to lead the throws group with consistent top finishes. In the multi-events, Maya Wright (Hillsboro, MO/Hillsboro), Maddie Falls, and Lauryn Fenoglio (Granite City, IL/Granite City) have delivered solid performances in the heptathlon.
On the men's side, Tyler Marchert has been a consistent contributor in the throws, while the Miners continue to build depth across both track and field events.
