INDIANAPOLIS, IN  --  Missouri S&T Men's Golf's Cole Komyati (Elberta, AL/Bayside Academy) has been named Athletic Solutions Player of the Week by the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The award comes after a team title and an individual runner-up finish at the Sapona Intercollegiate.

Komyati helped the Miners claim their second title of the season at the Sapona Intercollegiate over the weekend, shooting 3-under to earn second place individually as well as All-Tournament honors. He shot +2 in the opening round of the tournament, but paired four birdies with just one bogey in round two to end day one below par at -1. Komyati recorded an eagle and two birdies on holes 1-5 of the third and final round, finishing -2 on the day to end the tournament at -3.

The player of the week honor is Komyati's second of his career and first of this season.
