ROLLA, Mo. — Missouri S&T women's soccer forward
Aubrey Case (Yorktown, VA/Tabb) has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Case, a redshirt junior from Yorktown, Virginia, helped lead the Miners to three consecutive victories last week, including a pair of key conference wins over No. 16 McKendree and Lewis.
She had a standout performance with a game to remember against McKendree on Oct. 7, recording two goals and an assist in a thrilling 3-2 victory over the nationally ranked Bearcats. Case opened the scoring in the seventh minute before assisting on
Carlye Bennett's (St. Louis, MO/Saint Joseph's Academy) goal in the 12th minute. With the game tied late in regulation, Case found the back of the net with just 11 seconds remaining to secure the victory for S&T.
The Miners capped the week with another 3-2 victory on the road at Lewis on Oct. 10, extending their winning streak to four games.
Case leads the Miners with six goals, six assists, and 18 points this season. She also has three game-winning goals, tying her for the team lead.
