S&T Takes Four-Game Winning Streak to Kirksville

10/12/2026 10:28:00 AM

ROLLA, Mo. — Missouri S&T's women's soccer team will look to extend its winning streak Wednesday when it travels to Kirksville, Missouri, to face Truman State in a Great Lakes Valley Conference matchup.

The Miners (8-3-2, 7-2-2 GLVC) enter the contest following a historic stretch, winning four consecutive games for the first time since 2003. S&T also made program history by winning four straight GLVC games for the first time.

S&T most recently earned a 3-2 road victory over Lewis on Saturday, continuing its strong run of form. Ella Kramer (Liberty, MO/Liberty North) led the Miners with two goals, while Catie Riddle (Westland, MI/Churchill) added four saves in the win.

The Miners will face a Truman State team that enters Wednesday's matchup with a 5-4-4 overall record and a 4-3-3 mark in conference play. The Bulldogs are coming off a momentum high, bringing home a 2-0 win at Upper Iowa University.

S&T will look to build on its recent success by maintaining its momentum on both ends of the field. The Miners will aim to create scoring opportunities while continuing to rely on their defensive efforts as conference play progresses.

"One game this week, so we can prepare well," starts Head Coach Matthew Perry. "It's that time of year where people are getting hurt or getting sick, so we are having to just grind through it. This will be our third game facing a team coming off a bye week, which has been tough, but we are excited. It was a gritty performance Saturday, so we will need to use some of that momentum going into Wednesday."
