ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T men's and women's track and field teams will continue the indoor season this weekend, traveling to Columbia, Mo., to compete in the Show-Me Showdown on Friday, Jan. 16, hosted by the University of Missouri at the Hearnes Center.

The meet will feature a full slate of running and field events contested on a 200-meter banked Mondo track, providing the Miners another early-season opportunity to compete against strong regional competition.

Meet Schedule
The competition will begin Friday morning with field events, followed by running events starting at 12:55 p.m. after the national anthem. The day concludes with the 4x400-meter relays in the early evening.

Field events include the weight throw, shot put, pole vault, high jump, long jump, and triple jump, while the track schedule features events from the 60-meter hurdles through the 3,000 meters.

What to Watch
Missouri S&T enters the Show-Me Showdown looking to build on early-season momentum across sprints, throws, and jumps. At the Redhawks Invite, Sydney Morris (Jefferson City, MO/Calvary Lutheran) continued her record-breaking season, setting two school records with throws of 16.31 meters in the weight throw and 14.24 meters in the shot put.
