ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Baseball fell to Lincoln on Saturday afternoon to conclude the 2025 regular season.
Blue Tigers 8, Miners 4
In the series and regular season finale on Saturday, Lincoln topped Missouri S&T 8-4.
The Blue Tigers scored six runs in the first two innings to lead 6-0 over S&T.
Nate Wodka (Allen, TX/Allen) started the game for S&T and surrendered four runs, three earned, in one inning pitched. The right-hander took his second loss of the season.
Zander Street (Festus, MO/St. Pius X) yielded two runs, one earned, in two innings.
Bode Gebbink (Saint Joseph, IL/Saint Joseph-Ogden) tossed two innings and struck out a season-high four batters for the Miners.
The Miners put up two runs in the fifth inning to make the score 6-2.
Drew Baugus (Kirkwood, MO/Kirkwood) started the frame with a double and
Will Beckham (Mountain Home, AR/Mountain Home) singled.
Garrett Meyer (Jacksonville, IL/Jacksonville) grounded out to score Beckham.
Nick Krodinger (DeSoto, MO/DeSoto) singled to make the score 6-2.
After the Blue Tigers recorded one run in the sixth, S&T scored two more runs in the seventh.
Bricen Smith (Perry, GA/Mount de Sales Academy) reached on an error and Baugus singled to center field. After Baugus stole second, Beckham singled to score two and make the deficit 7-4.
Jacob Cook (Shorewood, Ill./Minooka Community) gave up one run in two innings with two hits, one walk and one strikeout.
Nick Currie (Granville, IL/Putnam County) closed out the game with two innings pitched and one run surrendered.
Baugus was 2-for-5 with a double and two runs scored. Beckham recorded two hits, one walk, a run and two RBI. Meyer and Krodinger both reached base twice.
Baugus and Beckham both stole a bag.
Missouri S&T moved to 27-22 overall and 17-15 in the GLVC with the loss. The Miners also celebrated Senior Day before first pitch on Saturday. 12 seniors were honored for Missouri S&T in their last home game with the program.
What's Next
The Miners will play in the GLVC Tournament on Wednesday against Illinois Springfield in the first round. That game is scheduled for May 7 at 4 p.m.
