PUEBLO, CO  --  Owen Fraser (Kirksville, MO/Kirksville) and Otto Knittel (Spring Hill, KS/Spring Hill) are headed back to the NCAA Division II National Championships, set to take place at Colorado State University–Pueblo from May 22 to May 24.

Fraser has expanded his national appearance from last year, when he qualified in just one event. This season, he will compete in three: the shot put, hammer throw, and discus. His standout event has been the discus, where he leads all of Division II with a mark of 60.90 meters—more than two meters ahead of his closest competitor. Fraser also ranks 13th nationally in the hammer throw and 14th in the shot put.

Knittel returns to the national stage in the decathlon for the second consecutive year. Earlier this season, he set a new school record with 6,972 points, a performance that currently ranks him 11th in Division II.
