ROLLA, MO  --  Missouri S&T has announced the Hall of Fame Inductees for the Class of 2026, naming five student-athletes, one administrator/coach, and one team. The 40th Induction Class includes Tyler Bodenstab, Taylor Cipicchio, Kaitlyn Deister, Bryce Foster, Terry Robinson, Mark Mullin, and the 2016 Baseball Team.

The Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 26th, in the Havener Center's St. Pat's Ballroom. Attendees must register by September 6th at go.mst.edu/minertix by selecting "Hall of Fame – 2026 Induction Ceremony." The inductees will also be honored at halftime of Missouri S&T football's game against Southwest Baptist later that day.

TYLER BODENSTAB, Econ'15, MBA'16
Baseball (2013-16)

Bodenstab left an indelible mark on the Miner baseball record book, finishing as the Miners' all-time leader in hits with 227, runs scored with 156, and stolen bases with 68.  

He earned All-Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) second team in each of his final two seasons, first earning those laurels in 2015 when he batted .335 with 29 runs batted in and a team-leading 15 stolen bases. The following season he helped lead the Miners to the GLVC West Division Championship while batting .368. That year, he established single season records with 82 hits and 60 runs scored while adding 26 runs batted in and 19 stolen bases from the leadoff position in the lineup.  

He batted .324 during his career and played in a program record 197 games, which included 72 games with two or more hits. 


TAYLOR CIPICCHIO, AMth'14
Women's Track & Field (2011-14)

Cipicchio had an accomplished career in both women's indoor and outdoor track & field. In 2014, Cipicchio became just the second student-athlete in program history to earn All-America honors in both indoor and outdoor seasons, tying for fourth in the pole vault at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships before placing fourth at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships. At the outdoor meet, she cleared a program-record of 13 feet, 1 ½ inches.    

Her All-America performance came after winning the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) pole vault titles at both the conference's indoor and outdoor championships in 2014 with a league-record performance. Her winning clearance of 12 feet, 8 inches at the GLVC Indoor Championships established a new S&T record.  

Cipicchio was a four-time GLVC champion in the pole vault and captured outdoor titles in 2011 and 2013, becoming the first student-athlete in GLVC history to win three outdoor pole vault championships. She also excelled in the classroom, earning the GLVC Council of Presidents' Academic Excellence Award and being named Academic All-America by the College Sports Information Directors of America.  


KAITLYN DEISTER, CerE'16 
Women's Soccer (2011-14)

Deister established herself as one of the premier goalkeepers in the Miner women's soccer program. She finished with one of the lowest career goals against averages in program history at 1.44 while playing in 3,551 career minutes and concluded her career ranked second in program history with 16 shutouts and sixth with 210 saves. Deister also led the Miners in goals against average in each of her four seasons.  

During the 2013 season, Deister recorded a 0.56 goals-against average. The following season, she recorded 90 saves in nearly 1,500 minutes to help lead the Miners to the championship game of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Tournament and the program's highest win total in 14 years with nine victories. Two of her eight shutouts that season came in the GLVC Tournament, including one in the semifinals against Quincy University that included a save in a penalty kick shootout that helped advance the Miners to the championship match. 


BRYCE FOSTER, Bus'14
Men's Basketball (2009-14)

Foster finished his career ranked third on the Miners' men's basketball all-time scoring list with 1,683 points, second with 602 field goals, and fifth with 197 three-point field goals. Foster led the Miners in scoring three of the four full seasons he played and averaged at least 13 points per game in four different campaigns. 

Foster's finest season came in 2013-14 when he averaged 21.6 points per game to finish as the Great Lakes Valley Conference's (GLVC) second-leading scorer and earned First Team All-GLVC honors. During that season, Foster recorded the first triple-double in program history in a game against Webster University.   

Foster's excellence extended beyond the basketball court. He was the 2013-14 GLVC Scholar-Athlete of the Year for men's basketball and earned Academic All-America Team Member of the Year honors awarded by the College Sports Information Directors of America, recognizing him as one of the nation's premier student-athletes. 


TERRY ROBINSON, CE'13
Men's Track & Field (2010-12) 

Robinson made his mark as one of the most versatile and accomplished student-athletes in Missouri S&T men's track & field history, earning All-America honors on three occasions and capturing eight Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) championships during his career.   

Robinson earned his first two All-America honors in 2010, with a fifth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships followed by a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships. He added a seventh-place finish in the 400-hurdles at the 2012 NCAA Outdoor Championships garnering his third All-America award.  

A dominant performer at the conference level, Robinson won GLVC titles in seven different events, including the indoor 400-meters in 2010; indoor 55-meter hurdles in 2011 and 2012; outdoor 110- and 400-meter hurdles in 2010; and as a member of three conference championship relay teams. His outstanding 2010 outdoor season earned him the GLVC Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year honors. Robinson also established five Miner program records during his career.  

In addition to his success in track & field, Robinson competed on the Miner football team in 2008 and 2009, recording 68 career tackles as defensive back and earning all-conference honors following the 2009 season. 


MARK MULLIN 
Athletic Director, Coach (1985-2020)

Mullin dedicated 35 years to Missouri S&T Athletics, serving as head swimming coach from 1985-98 while also leading the department as Director of Athletics for the final 28 years of his tenure (1992–2020).  

As athletic director, the Miners won 14 conference championships, 10 regular-season or divisional titles, and advanced 71 teams to NCAA Division II Championship competition. During that time, 193 student-athletes and 97 relay teams earned All-America honors, while 101 student-athletes received Academic All-America recognition, and numerous teams earned Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) academic awards.  

Mullin also guided Missouri S&T into the GLVC in 2005, oversaw the hosting of two NCAA championship events and multiple conference championships, and spearheaded major facility improvements, including renovations to Allgood-Bailey Stadium and Gibson Arena.  

As head swimming coach, Mullin compiled a 96-27 dual meet record in 13 seasons, won seven regional championships, and led the Miners to a third-place finish at the 1998 NCAA Division II Championships, the highest NCAA team finish in school history at the time. 
 

2016 BASEBALL TEAM 

The 2016 season ranks among the greatest in Missouri S&T baseball history. The Miners set a program record with 39 wins (39-19), captured the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) West Division title with a 19-9 conference record, and advanced further than any team in program history by reaching the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional championship game. 

Led by first-team all-region selections Eli Miller and Aaron Bedsworth, along with four additional All-GLVC honorees, the Miners opened the season with eight straight wins and closed the regular season on a six-game winning streak to claim the division title on the final day. After dropping the regional opener, they rallied with four consecutive victories—including back-to-back walk-off wins over Grand Valley State University and Quincy University—to reach the championship game.  

Guided by GLVC Coach of the Year Todd DeGraffenreid, Missouri S&T also fielded one of the conference's top offenses, posting a .318 team batting average, the third-highest mark in program history.
