CAREER BESTS & RESULTS
2022: Named as the GLVC's Freshman of the Year after finishing second in the decathlon, fifth in the javelin throw and being part of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished fourth at the GLVC Outdoor Championships...recorded a season-best 6,203 points in the decathlon at the conference meet...also had a season-best throw of 175-1 in the javelin at that meet to earn his fifth place finish...finished sixth in the heptathlon at the GLVC Indoor Championships...was part of S&T's 4x400-meter relay team that placed seventh at the conference's indoor meet...had top indoor marks of 4,362 points in the heptathlon and 8.55 seconds in the 60-meter hurdles.
HIGH SCHOOL: Was the runner-up in the 110-meter hurdles at the Kansas 5A state championships as a senior...had top career marks of 14.93 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles, 39.52 in the 300-meter hurdles and 167-7 in the javelin throw.
PERSONAL: Son of Randy and Kolette Knittel...attended Spring Hill High School...majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
