ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Baseball has earned the #7 seed in the NCAA DII Midwest Regional and will face #2 Grand Valley State later this week.
Missouri S&T will play #2 Grand Valley State on May 15 at 10 a.m. CT in Allendale, Michigan. It will be just the fifth time that the two teams have matched up. The Miners are 3-1 all-time with a win in the NCAA DII Midwest Regional in the 2016 season.
The Miners have made an NCAA DII Regional for the fourth time in program history. They made it in the 1972, 2011 and 2016 seasons.
S&T is one of three GLVC teams to make the Midwest Regional. Indianapolis earned the #4 spot, while Lewis is #3. The GLIAC is represented by #1 Davenport, #2 Grand Valley State, while the G-MAC will be represented by #5 Ashland and #6 Northwood.
