Bruhn Named GLVC Defensive Player of the Week After Shutout Weekend

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Cavitt Bruhn (Plano, TX/Plano) has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

This marks Bruhn's first career GLVC weekly honor.

Bruhn anchored the Missouri S&T defense through a dominant weekend at Allgood-Bailey Stadium, recording back-to-back shutouts against UIndy and Lewis. The redshirt junior goalkeeper totaled 10 saves across the two matches, including a seven-save performance in Friday's 0-0 draw with UIndy and three more in Sunday's 4-0 win over Lewis.

The pair of clean sheets marked Bruhn's fourth shutout of the season, as he extended his scoreless streak to 180 consecutive minutes while guiding the Miners to a 1-0-1 weekend in Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
