ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T Golf is set for their first competition of the 2024-25 season at the Arch Cup on Tuesday.

As a team last season, the Miners finished tied for second place out of 13 total teams in Madison, Illinois. Jeppe Thybo (Esbjerg, Denmark/Rybners Gymnasium) finished tied for the top spot at the Arch Cup last season after he shot a 69 in the first round and 68 in the second.

Missouri S&T lost four players in the last year but returned nine to the roster. Senior Connor Benjamin (Nelson Bay, Australia/St. Philip's Christian College) is back for his second year and grad student Jack Coleman (Milton Keynes, England/Walton) returns for the Miners. William Charlesworth (Benissa, Spain/Interhigh), Nicolas Estada, Joey Friedel (St. Peters, MO/Fort Zumwalt South), Thomas Heisner (Crestwood, MO/Lindbergh) Quin Hoenig (O'Fallon, Mo/Francis Howell), Cole Komyati (Elberta, AL/Bayside Academy) and Isaac To (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia/Real International School) all headline as returners. Rizq Adam Rohizam () and Andy Su () are the two newcomers for Missouri S&T.

Head coach Anthony Monaco is in his first season at Missouri S&T. He has seven years of coaching experience between the NCAA Division II and Division III levels. He previously served as the Director of Golf for Division III Maryville College. With the Scots, he became the all-time winningest coach in program history. Monaco served as the head coach at Urbana University prior to his time with Maryville.

Following the Arch Cup, the Miners will travel to the UIndy Fall Invitational from Sept. 23-24. To close out the month, they will go north to the Midwest Regional Preview from Sept. 30-Oct. 1 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Missouri S&T ends the fall slate from Oct. 28-29 at the Bill Crabtree Invitational in Owensboro, Kentucky.
