Biography

2024-25: Finished the season ranked 67th nationally and 5th regionally in the Scoreboard rankings…totaled 37 rounds with a scoring average of 71.5, the fourth-best score in Missouri S&T history…recorded six top three finishes during the season…collected third at the Bill Crabtree Invitational and seventh at the Arch Cup…placed second at the Saddlebrook Spring Kickoff and third at the Hillcat Classic to start the spring…finished second at the Ashland Spring Invitational with a score of 210…recorded third at the 112-golfer field in the Ken Partridge Invitational, turning in a score of 211…took third place at the GLVC Championship to earn All-GLVC honors, carding a score of 214…collected 10th at the NCAA DII Midwest/Central Regional…won his match at the NCAA DII National Championship quarterfinals with his score of 69…awarded PING all-region team honors.

2023-24: Competed in 25 total rounds with a scoring average of 73.3…earned fourth place in a 130-golfer field at the SVSU Spring Invitational with a score of 138 in 36 holes, the fourth-best mark in S&T history…shot a 71 in match play semifinals at the GLVC Championship…placed 28th at the NCAA DII Central/Midwest Regional with a score of 210…named to the GLVC All-Academic team.

2022-23: Competed in 27 rounds during the season, averaging 75.8 strokes per round...posted a season-low score of 215 to finish in a tie for sixth at the Midwest Regional; also had his season-best single round score of 71, which he reached in two of the three rounds of the tournament...had a 10th place finish at the Tunica Cup...was one of the Miners' five competitors at both the NCAA Midwest Regional -- where he placed 37th with a score of 223 -- and the NCAA Division II Championships, where he had a score of 230...member of GLVC All-Academic team.

High School: Prepped at Bayside Academy...member of the National Honor Society...graduated with honors.

Personal: Son of Craig & Kelly Komyati...majoring in mechanical engineering at Missouri S&T.
