Rohizam’s Runner-Up Finish Leads Miners to Sixth at UIndy Fall Invitational

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- Missouri S&T men's golf finished sixth out of 14 teams at the two-day UIndy Fall Invitational, placing second among Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) programs in the field.

The Miners were led by Rizq Adam Rohizam (Selangor, Malaysia/Robert Louis Stevenson), who turned in a stellar performance with an 11-under finish to claim second place overall. Isaac Chern Yi To followed as the next scorer for S&T, securing a tie for 22nd at 2-under par.

Thomas Heisner (Crestwood, MO/Lindbergh) added consistency to the lineup with an even-par finish in 26th place, while Li Kasule () was close behind at +2 to place 31st. Joey Friedel (St. Peters, MO/Fort Zumwalt South) contributed with a +10 score in 65th, and Quin Hoenig (O'Fallon, Mo/Francis Howell) rounded out the Miner squad in 71st at +13.

As a group, Missouri S&T's depth and steady play across the lineup helped the Miners post a 3-under total.

What's Next
Missouri S&T will return to the course at Boulder Creek Golf Club, competing in the NCAA National Preview on October 6-7.
