Rizq Adam Rohizam Awarded Career-First GLVC Golf Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Rizq Adam Rohizam (Selangor, Malaysia/Robert Louis Stevenson) has earned the season's first Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Golf Player of the Week honor following his performance at The Mule. This marks the first GLVC weekly honor of his career.

In the Miners' first event of the season, Rohizam led S&T to a fifth-place finish out of 20 teams, placing first among the four GLVC opponents competing at the event.

The Selangor, Malaysia native finished 15th out of 104 golfers with a +5, leading all GLVC competitors. He recorded scores of 71-722-71 for a total score of 215.

Over the summer, Rohizam tied for second at the 77th Singapore Amateur Championship, posting a tournament-best round of 66 on the final day of competition.

What's Next
S&T golf will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, to compete in the UIndy Fall Invitational, taking place on September 22-23.
