ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T's golf team, which has finished either first or second in each of its spring tournaments to date, has returned to the national top 25 in both the latest Bushnell/Golfweek and Scoreboard Powered by Clippd Division II rankings that were this week.

The Miners are ranked 22nd in the Bushnell/Golfweek rankings and 23^rd in the Scoreboard rankings and are the only team representing the Great Lakes Valley Conference in the national poll in both polls.  S&T is also ranked second in the new NCAA Division II Midwest regional rankings that came out on Friday, trailing only Grand Valley State, who finished ahead of S&T in the Ken Partridge Invitational held earlier this week in Indianapolis.

Missouri S&T opened its spring campaign by winning the Maverick Spring Invitational in Arizona, then placed second in its next three tournaments that were hosted by Saginaw Valley State, Findlay and Indianapolis – all of which had fields of 18 or more teams.  The Miners have finished first or second in seven of the nine tournaments they have played in this season heading into the GLVC Championships that begins on April 22.

North Georgia is the top-ranked team in the latest national polls, with the Bushnell/Golfweek ranking having Georgia Southwestern, Lincoln Memorial and Grand Valley State behind the Nighthawks. The Scoreboard poll has Lincoln Memorial, Georgia Southwestern and Grand Valley State, who finished ahead of S&T in the tournament at UIndy earlier this week, in the next three spots behind North Georgia.
