OWENSBORO, Ky. – #14 Missouri S&T Golf picked up another first-place finish at the Bill Crabtree Invitational this week.
For the second straight tournament,
Isaac To (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia/Real International School) picked up a first-place finish, this time against an 84 golfer field.
In the first round, the Miners shot a collective 277 to lead all 14 teams. To shot a 68 with five birdies.
Connor Benjamin (Nelson Bay, Australia/St. Philip's Christian College) was right behind with a 69 with his six birdies.
Cole Komyati (Elberta, AL/Bayside Academy) and
Nicolas Estrada (Zaragoza, Spain/IES Valdespartera) both shot a 70.
S&T was consistent on day two after they recorded a combined score of 281 to finish the invitational in first. To, Estrada and Komyati all posted a score of 70 in the round.
Rizq Adam Rohizam () collected a 71 on day two.

Individually, the Miners had four players in the top six of the field. To posted a first-place finish for the second time this season. Komyati and Estrada were both tied for third, while Benjamin finished in sixth. After his nice second day, Rohizam moved up to 18
th and
Joey Friedel (St. Peters, MO/Fort Zumwalt South) recorded 44
th.
Following the invitational, the Miners moved up on the latest Scoreboard rankings. As a team, they now sit in 14
th, the highest of any GLVC team and the highest in S&T history. They are also second in the Midwest region. To moved up to 31
st in the rankings, the second highest GLVC player. Benjamin is also in the top 100 at 78
th.
After the win, the Miners will take the winter off until their spring schedule begins in February. The spring slate will be released in the coming weeks as S&T will have five more invitationals on top of the conference and regional championships.
