FLORENCE, Ind. -- Missouri S&T Golf will be at their first of three consecutive tournament in Indiana on Monday and Tuesday. They will be competing at the Belterra Invite at the Belterra Golf Club.
The Miners have finished top three in their last five events, including team wins at Kentucky Wesleyan and Sapona along with individual titles at the former and Findlay. The team ranks 45th nationally and 5th in the region according to Scoreboard.
Rizq Adam Rohizam (Selangor, Malaysia/Robert Louis Stevenson) won his first career Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Week award after winning the individual title at Findlay where he shot a 201 for a -15. The title vaulted him up in the national rankings, with the sophomore moving up 53 spots and now ranking 49 individually.
Missouri S&T will be one of two ranked teams at the Belterra Invite this week, with #33 Wayne State (MI) also competing. Region opponents Ashland, Cedarville, Thomas More, and Walsh will be present as well as Davis & Elkins College and NJCAA Vincennes.
What's Next
The Miners will play their final tournament of the regular season next week, heading to Purgatory Golf Club for the Ken Partirdige Invitational April 5th-7th.
