ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T's men's soccer team was among 301 teams nationwide that were recipients of Team Academic Awards for the 2021-22 academic year from the United Soccer Coaches as announced this week. 

The academic award is the 11th awarded to the S&T's men's program, which has received the honor in five of the past six years. The Miners were one of six teams from the GLVC to earn the award over the course of last season.

The awards are presented to teams led by active members of the United Soccer Coaches with a composite grade point average of 3.0 for all players on the roster for that academic year.

The 2022 men's soccer season begins August 26 at home, when the Miners host Northeastern State at 7 PM.
