ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T's baseball team is one of 77 in NCAA Division II and seven in the Great Lakes Valley Conference to receive the team academic excellence award from the American Baseball Coaches Association for the 2021 season.

The Miners were among 344 four-year collegiate programs to reach the minimum team grade point average of 3.0 for the past academic year, marking the third time since the 2016 season that S&T has earned this honor.  The team was named following that season as well as following the 2018 campaign.

Missouri S&T joined Lewis, Lindenwood, Maryville, Rockhurst, Southwest Baptist and William Jewell as the GLVC teams listed as recipients of the award for the 2021 season.
