ROLLA, Mo. – Missouri S&T's Andrew Heider (Hazelwood, MO/Hazelwood West) was selected today to the College Sports Information Directors of America's academic all-district team in men's soccer for the 2021 season.

Heider, a senior, appeared in all 16 games and started in three for the Miners during the past campaign as one of the members of the team's back line.  He started in all 14 games during S&T's spring campaign earlier in this calendar year and finished his career by appearing in 38 games and started exactly one-half of them.

An aerospace engineering major at S&T, Heider took nine shots during his playing career as a Miner and had five of those shots on goal.

He was one of eight student-athletes from schools in the Great Lakes Valley Conference selected to the academic all-district team and is eligible for Academic All-America honors, which will be announced on Thursday, Dec. 9.
